Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning, plus 1 tbsp
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups guacamole (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup chunky salsa, drained
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican-blend cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 (2.25 oz) can sliced black olives, drained
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • tortilla chips, to serve

Steps

  1. Stir 1 tsp taco seasoning into the beans and spread them in a 9x13-inch dish or a shallow 2-quart dish.
  2. Mix the sour cream with 1 tbsp taco seasoning and spread over the beans.
  3. Spread on the guacamole, then the salsa.
  4. Top with the cheese, tomatoes, olives and green onions.
  5. Chill until serving and serve with chips.

TipBuild it up to 4 hours ahead. Cover the surface with plastic wrap to keep the guacamole green.
