Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 (12 to 14 oz) package cocktail smoked sausages (about 40)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds (optional)
  • mustard and ketchup, for dipping

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Unroll the dough, separate the triangles, and cut each lengthwise into 3 or 4 skinny strips.
  3. Pat the sausages dry. Wrap a strip of dough around each and set seam side down on the sheet.
  4. Brush with egg and sprinkle with seasoning. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with mustard.

TipFor Halloween, wrap the dough loosely in criss-cross strips like a mummy and add two dots of mustard for eyes.
